MATE (Motivating Action Through Empowerment)

We can’t wait for the systems created for us to save us – we must save ourselves! MATE is a leadership focused primary prevention program that aims to make the complicated and diverse issues of violence (particularly men’s violence against women) accessible to the population by engaging participants in facilitated discussions, awareness information and equipping tools to help us change culture for the better.
